INSIGHT aims to bridge the gap between design, technology, and the arts through a curated range of Post Graduate Programmes, Certificate Courses, Master classes, Workshops, and Outreach programs. Flagship Post Graduate Program (PGP) – Starting April/May 2025

The centre’s main academic offering is its one-year industry-focused Post Graduate Program (PGP), designed to equip students with practical skills and expertise for careers in the design industry. Specializations include:

• Product Design – Focusing on innovative consumer products and industrial design.
• Interaction Design (UX/UI) – Exploring user experience and interface design for digital platforms.
• Interior and Experience Design – Integrating spatial design with immersive user experiences.

A unique aspect of INSIGHT is its adaptive reuse of a historic D B Khona building, which was once bustling with shipping and custom works. Instead of demolishing and rebuilding, the centre has repurposed this architectural landmark into a state-of-the-art design hub while preserving its colonial-era charm and structural integrity.

The transformation was carried out with a strong emphasis on sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, and modern amenities that blend seamlessly with the building’s original character. This initiative not only honors the region’s maritime history but also sets an example of responsible urban renewal in design education.
